How will I pay my visitor's tax as an owner in future? 

In Bellwald, the visitor's tax will be invoiced once a year (November) as a lump sum. As before, the municipality of Bellwald has transferred the task to Bellwald Tourism. All visitor's taxes are settled with the payment of the annual invoice. No further collection will be made by the municipality of Bellwald or Bellwald Tourism.

Please note that the tourism promotion tax is still due for rentals.

What will change with the introduction of the new regulations? 

The regulations stipulate that every apartment/chalet will be charged the visitor's tax on the basis of a flat rate, regardless of whether you use the property "only" for yourself, whether you rent it out or whether you make your property available to friends/acquaintances. The size of the property now plays a decisive role. According to the size of your property, you will now receive the corresponding number of guest cards.

The regulations provide for the following sizes of objects:

Brief description

  1. Log in with your personal access data
  2. Select the ‘Guest messages’ area
  3. Click on the ‘NEW’ button
  4. Select either ‘Pre-registration individual guest’ (for arrivals in the future) or ‘Registration individual guest’ (for arrivals within 2 days or in the past)
  5. Enter data (surname, first name, full address, date of birth)
  6. Save
  7. Click on ‘Produce guest card’
  8. If you only want to print, select all cards here & print, done
  9. If sending by email, click on ‘Remember all cards’
  10. Switch to the watch list
  11. Select ‘Send MobileCards’ via the action field
  12. Check e-mail, enter or correct if necessary
  13. Send, done
