The tour begins with a scenic ride on the chairlift. This is followed by a relaxed descent back to Bellwald. The route leads through open terrain and the peaceful Lärchenwald and continually offers new views.
The hike begins at the summit station of the chairlift and the neighbouring restaurant with panoramic sun terrace. From here, you have a breath-taking view of the Rhone valley and the summits of the Binn Valley Landscape Park on the other side of the valley.
While the path meanders down the mountain, it offers views of the Fieschertal to the west and the majestic peaks of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site, (which protects the region with the most glaciers in the Alps) to the north. The westernmost point of the trail – near Mutti – is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sun while admiring the scenery.
