Totenstutz und Riedweg

  • start: Bellwald, Dorfzentrum

From Bellwald you first head downhill towards the hamlet of Bodmen. From here you walk in the direction of Lambrigge. This section also bears the name Totenstutz. In earlier times, the coffins with the deceased were carried down into the valley along this path. Continue along the Riedweg in the direction of Unnerbärg and up again to the hamlet of Eggen and back to Bellwald.
